A Message from Asiatico Law In Response to COVID-19

Dear Clients, Colleagues and Friends,

I am praying for all of our clients this morning with the constantly changing COVID-19 situation around the world. It is an unprecedented time — a time that, for many, is filled with uncertainty.

I want you to know you have our commitment to continue providing you with the services you depend on. Over the past two decades, Asiatico Law has focused on our mission to ensure our clients achieve their aims and their good work around the world, even through other crises that have affected the world. During those times, you and your organizations were on the frontlines of responding for the best outcome for your families, your communities, your regions, and the entire country in many cases. So, this enduring mission guides us as we closely monitor, assess, and respond to this situation. I have received a myriad of other letters similar to this one from nonprofit and for-profit business leaders, so I’ve prepared this one that will likely sound like a familiar refrain to you from others you will receive.

We understand you rely on us to provide excellent legal services to you and your organizations. You rely on us to help you achieve your purposes, and we understand the responsibility that entails. Doing this every day, in any environment, is our primary focus.

In response to the current situation, we’ve implemented our business continuity plan — examining all areas of our business operations and activities — and we have taken actions to ensure continued service to our clients. Rest assured, we are prepared to serve you.

First and foremost, our plan ensures the health and safety of our employees, so we can continue to deliver the services you count on. Considering the most recent news and announcements from the World Health Organization (WHO), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and other federal and state authorities, we made the decision two weeks ago to have our team around the country work from home. Over the past three years, we have prepared for a flexible and mobile working environment to achieve the ability to remotely work from any location in the world. That allows us to respond right away to your legal service needs now without any change necessary in our digital work platforms. During this time, we’ve also suspended business travel.

These precautionary measures have been taken to limit the potential spread of the virus, to support our employees in this challenging time and to ensure we maintain our ability to serve you, our clients, for the long term. Our executive leadership team will continue to monitor the situation and respond quickly as conditions evolve.

Please be safe and stay healthy.

Brooke Asiatico, Founder & Managing Attorney
